The Distinguished Giants Program

The Distinguished Giants Program was established in 2019 to honor outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to society through their professional achievement and career distinction or through public service or volunteer service to the community.


Honorees exemplify the ideals of faith, learning and service prominent in the school mission and have honored the legacy of excellence and enhanced the reputation of Bishop Brady High School through their outstanding professional achievements, personal accomplishments, or loyal service.

Distinguished Giants Guidelines & Information

Awards will be presented in four categories:

1. Distinguished Alumni: Recognizing graduates of St. John High School or Bishop Brady High School.


2. Distinguished Young Alumni: Honoring graduates of Bishop Brady High School from the Class of 2008 or later.


3. Distinguished Service Award: Acknowledging current or former faculty or staff members who have dedicated more than 15 years to Bishop Brady High School or former Advisory Board members.


4. Distinguished Volunteer: Celebrating graduates of Bishop Brady High School who demonstrate outstanding volunteerism by actively supporting activities and events at Bishop Brady throughout the school year.


Submissions will be welcomed until February 19, 2024. Honorees will receive notifications by March 4. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place during the Diamond Jubilee celebration on April 13th at Bishop Brady High School. Nominees will remain in the nomination pool for a period of five years.
